Schools Initiative

Schools initiative

Peterborough United revamped the Schools Initiative following the arrival of co-owner Jason Neale and over the last few seasons, it has grown to incorporate Primary Schools from across six counties and helped create our Fans for the Future.

Former player Bobby Copping leads the initiative, delivering a 12-minute interactive assembly with mascot Peter Burrow, which features a short DVD of goals, plenty of fun and dancing from Peter and free tickets for every pupil, which allows them to watch a Peterborough United fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium FREE of charge alongside a parent/guardian.

The take-up of this initiative over the course of the last few seasons has been excellent and by the end of the 2021/22 season, the team expect to have delivered well over 150 assemblies with tens-of-thousands of children receiving tickets.
