PUFC - LRE

One. Club. Together.

When we announced season tickets for 2026/27, we were upfront: season tickets for the GH Display Stand would not be available as the consultation was still in progress. That hasn't changed, and wasn't ever going to change before the consultation concluded.

The trial game against Port Vale on 7th March was always part of the plan. A data gathering exercise to help fans experience the stand first-hand and give informed feedback. It's not a delay, it's part of the process.

The fact is operating both stands for home supporters across all games requires a fan base large enough to sustain it. The goal is absolutely to have both ends open for home supporters. Until we get there, the question we're asking and the question we need YOUR help answering, is which configuration is best for our fans AND best for the future of this football club.

This consultation will conclude when we have enough data to make an informed decision, and if that means it runs into next season, so be it. We won't rush this. Getting it right matters more than getting it done quickly.

We Need to Hear From You

The survey was sent out to all London Road End season ticket holders in early January and so far, only 20% have responded. We're grateful to every single one of you who has taken the time to share your thoughts.

But we need to hear from the other 80%. If you haven't yet completed the survey, please check your email (including your junk/spam folder) or the survey can be completed here: https://theposh.cc/lre-survey

(This survey is only for LRE season ticket holders. You will need to enter your Fan ID to complete)

Whether you're in favour, against, or undecided, your opinion matters. We can only make the right decision for this football club if we hear from as many fans as possible.

This is your chance to shape the future.

The Trial Game: See It For Yourself

We know that it's difficult to form an opinion without experiencing the difference first-hand. That's why we're hosting a trial game on Saturday 7th March 2026 against Port Vale.

For this game, the London Road End will be closed to home supporters, who will be able to freely move to the GH Display Stand or any other area of the ground.

This will give supporters the opportunity to experience the GH Display Stand and help you make an informed decision with your feedback. We'd encourage anyone who is unsure to attend, experience it, and then share your thoughts.

How to move your ticket: If you are a season ticket holder in the London Road End, you can move your ticket now for the trial game. Login to the online ticketing website and go to the seat move page. If you are unable to move your ticket online, or are moving family or friends groups together, email tickets@theposh.com and we will be happy to help.

Priority access: London Road End season ticket holders will have exclusive online access to the Port Vale game until 5pm on Friday 13th February to enable first choice of seats.

Your Questions Answered

We've seen a number of questions raised online, and we want to address them directly.

Q: Why release season tickets before the trial game in March? Isn't that the wrong way round?

A: It's important to clarify: the survey was sent out in early January and is live now. We're not waiting until March to gather feedback.

The trial game on 7th March is an additional opportunity for fans to experience the GH Display Stand first-hand before providing feedback. It's not the start of the consultation, it's part of an ongoing process.

To date, we've received a 20% response rate to the survey, but we need to hear from many more London Road End season ticket holders before any decision is made. The more responses we receive now, the better informed any decision will be.

Q: Should I renew my London Road End season ticket now, or wait until the decision is made? Will the price freeze still be honoured?

A: You do not need to wait. If you currently hold a London Road End season ticket and wish to renew, you can do so now at the price freeze rate.

IF any changes are made following the consultation, all London Road End season ticket holders will be given first priority to move to their preferred area, and we will work with you to ensure you're looked after. Whenever you choose to purchase, your price is locked in. The club will also not charge any extra for a switch to the GH Display Stand.

Furthermore, if any other supporters purchase a season ticket in The Kings Power Solutions Stand or Meerkat Family Stand at the price freeze rate, and wish to move to the GH Display Stand the club will refund the difference in price.

We don't want anyone to miss out on the price freeze because they're waiting for a decision. Renew now, and we'll make sure you have options if anything changes.

Q: The GH Stand is already popular. Why do you need more data?

A: There have been several games where the GH Display Stand was open for home supporters alongside other initiatives which increased attendance, which may not give a complete picture of regular demand.

It's also worth noting that on average, 30% of fans who sit in the GH Display Stand have moved their season ticket across from the London Road End. So when the GH looks full, it's not necessarily new fans filling it, it's a combination of new fans, existing fans relocating and club initiatives.

Numbers only tell part of the story. We want to understand how you feel, what your concerns are, and what matters most to you on a matchday. That's why we're asking for your feedback directly, rather than relying on data alone.

Q: What about the persistent standing in the GH Display Stand? Will this affect my view and experience?

A: Yes, we're aware of the persistent standing in the GH Display Stand, and it's something that needs to be addressed.

The Safety Advisory Group is actively monitoring the situation, and the club is working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure that safety remains the priority for all supporters.

Any decisions around the future of the stand will take this into account. We're committed to ensuring that wherever you sit, you can enjoy the game safely and with a clear view of the pitch.

Q: Why are you even considering this change?

A: Our priority is giving home supporters the best possible matchday experience. We believe exploring all options is the right thing to do, but we're not making any decisions without consulting the fans who would be affected.

This isn't about change for the sake of change. It's about understanding whether there's a better way to enhance the atmosphere and experience for home supporters at the Weston Homes Stadium and, in the long term, maximise the opportunity to grow the club's fanbase.

As part of this consultation, we're asking supporters to consider a number of factors:

  • Matchday experience including sightlines, facilities such as toilets and bars, and the overall atmosphere
  • Flexibility how we can best accommodate varying away allocations while maximising home attendance
  • Operations ensuring the safest and most efficient matchday experience for everyone

We want to hear whether these factors matter to you, and how they influence your view on the future of the London Road End and GH Display Stand.

Q: Are you just going to ignore the consultation and do what you want anyway?

A: Absolutely not. This is a genuine consultation. We're gathering survey responses, running a trial game and listening to supporters throughout this process. No final decision will be made until the consultation is complete. The whole point of this process is to let your voice shape the outcome.

Q: What about the history of the London Road End?

A: Let us be clear: the history and heritage of the London Road End will always be part of this football club. Nothing will ever change that.

This consultation is about the future and how we can give supporters the best possible experience on a matchday. We're not erasing history. We're asking whether there's a way to build on it.

Q: Why haven't I received a survey?

A: Surveys were sent via email to all London Road End season ticket holders. If you haven't received yours, please check your junk/spam folder. If you still can't find it, contact us at media@theposh.com and we'll make sure you can have your say.

Q: When will a decision be made?

A: Not until the consultation is complete. That means:

  • Collecting as many survey responses as possible
  • Hosting the trial game on Saturday 7th March vs Port Vale
  • Reviewing all feedback and data

We'll communicate openly with supporters once we've completed this process and are ready to share the outcome.

Q: What happens if fans don't want the change?

A: Then we listen. This is a consultation, not a box-ticking exercise. If the overwhelming feedback is that supporters don't want change, that will be a significant factor in any decision.

But we can only know what fans want if they tell us. Please complete the survey.
