Ticket Purchase Policy
Our goal at Peterborough United is to make your purchasing experience easy, efficient and equitable. The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase process on theposhtickets.com. If you have any questions about the information below, please contact us. This Purchase Policy is subject to, and incorporates by this reference, the Terms of Use. Each ticket that you purchase is a revocable license to attend a particular event and is subject to these terms.
Payment Methods
Peterborough United accepts several methods of card payment to accommodate your needs. We accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. The stadium is a CASHLESS stadium.
Availability
There are three ways to purchase tickets for events at the Weston Homes Stadium - online via www.theposhtickets.com and at the Box Office in person or on the telephone (telephone booking fees apply).
Order Confirmation
If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with Peterborough United whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. Peterborough United will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
Convenience Charges and Order Processing Fees
Tickets purchased on theposhtickets.com carry no booking fees. Tickets purchased over the phone are typically subject to a non-refundable per ticket convenience charge. In many cases, delivery prices will also be owed.
Number of Tickets Per Customer or "Ticket Limits"
When purchasing tickets on theposhtickets.com, you are limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a "ticket limit"). This ticket limit is posted during the purchase process and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.
Cancelled and Postponed Events
Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed. Should this occur, please check our website www.theposh.com for refund information or telephone 01733 865674. If the event was postponed, tickets are usually valid on the rescheduled date. Please check before attending the rescheduled event. The club will endeavour to contact supporters who have purchased tickets for any event that is postponed/cancelled but the onus is on the purchaser to check that an event is taking place on the scheduled date/time.
Refunds and Exchanges
Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your event and seat selection. Peterborough United will happily refund tickets at face value paid (or, if a discounted ticket, then instead the discounted ticket price paid) if the refund has been requested no later than 24 hours prior to kick-off. For physical opposition tickets, the ticket must be in the possession of the Ticket Office by the same deadline. Any refund will be at the sole discretion of the Club's management. In no event will delivery charges or any other amounts be refunded.
If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets. If a credit card was used to make the refunded purchase, then only that actual credit card will receive the credit for the refund. Peterborough United will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled or postponed event.
Billing Information Verification
Orders are processed only after a billing address, and other billing information, has been verified. Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that can delay processing and delivery. In these cases, Peterborough United will attempt to contact you, using the information provided at the time of purchase.
Delivery Options
We recommend and encourage you to use our e-ticket/digital ticket delivery option where available for the most efficient way of receiving your ticket. For some events we may also offer Royal Mail 1st Class delivery for UK Mainland orders. Where e-ticket is the only option for an event, the club may charge a small fee for printing out the e-ticket.
Pricing and Other Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this website or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then Peterborough United will have the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of whether because of human error or a transactional malfunction of this website or other Peterborough United operated system.
Multiple Browser Windows
When ordering tickets online with theposhtickets.com, please ensure you are looking for tickets and placing an order using only one browser window. Looking up tickets using multiple browser windows could result in losing your tickets.
Limitation of Liability
Footballs may fly into the spectator areas during a match, resulting in injury. Stay alert at all times before, during and after a match. If struck, immediately ask a steward for directions to a medical station. You voluntarily assume all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring before, during or after the event, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against Peterborough United, management, facility, league and participants on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor. You bear all risks of inclement weather. Event date and time are subject to change.
License; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value
Peterborough United reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with Stadium rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket's face amount. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
Peterborough United reserve the right, without refund of any amount, to suspend or cancel Season/Individual Match Events Tickets to those that have obtained a 14A/14B Football Banning Orders (Football Spectators Act 1989) by any Magistrates/Crown Court in the United Kingdom. The offence doesn’t have to relate to Peterborough United fixtures. Peterborough United also reserve the right to suspend or cancel Season/Individual Match Events Tickets to those that have obtained a ‘Club Ban’. The Club Ban will have been issued following a breach of the ‘Ground Regulations’ or have been supported by evidence presented by Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
Recording, Transmission and Exhibition
You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to Peterborough United to utilise your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after match) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorisation from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf. In conformance with some local requirements or certain facility rules, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, strobe lights, irritants (e.g., artificial noisemakers), bundles and containers of any kind may not be brought into the stadium.
You Are Subject to Search
You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the stadium, including without limitation, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, bundles and containers.
Unlawful Re-Sale of Tickets; Commercial Purposes
Unlawful resale (or attempted resale), counterfeit or copy of tickets is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. In addition, Peterborough United reserves the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that Peterborough United determines to be, or has been, in violation of this policy. Because Peterborough United does not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any non-authorised third party reseller (such as brokers or individuals), Peterborough United recommends that you purchase tickets directly through Peterborough United, authorised partners or from the venue box office to ensure ticket authenticity. Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorisation is given by Peterborough United, provided that even if such consent is obtained, any use of Peterborough United's trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to Peterborough United's consent.
