The club can confirm that defender Harley Mills has put pen to paper on a long-term contract.
Peterborough United are delighted to announce that defender Harley Mills has agreed a new four-year contract with the football club with the teenager completing the formalities on the deal in the last 24 hours.
Mills was entering the final year of his existing deal and has been in talks with his representatives over the summer with officials at the club with a successful resolution.
Manager Darren Ferguson said: "Harley is a player that made a big impact towards the end of last season and everybody wanted to secure his services on a long-term contract.
"It went on through the summer, but we are delighted that everything has been completed. Harley has been excellent throughout pre-season and we look forward to working with him over a long period of time."
Mills, who scored a stunning goal in the Vertu Trophy final over Birmingham City at Wembley, is delighted everything has been concluded.
"This club have always produced and given opportunities to young players and working with the manager and the coaching staff here is something that I knew would help me improve my game.
"I have tried not to let stuff in the background affect pre-season and I don't think it did. I am really excited about the season opener and the campaign to come," Mills said.
