Prostate United

Manager Grant McCann has invited supporters to run with the management and behind the scenes staff on Tuesday morning.

Peterborough United manager Grant McCann has invited supporters to join him, the rest of the coaching staff and members of the behind-the-scenes staff at 7.30am on Tuesday morning as the running/cycling challenge for Prostate Cancer reaches the halfway mark.

Staff at the club are either running 3k, 5k or 10k a day or cycling 10k, 15k or 25k a day every day during November to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer and nearly £9,500 has been raised by the football club.

On Tuesday 15th November, halfway through the challenge, McCann has invited supporters to the idverde Training Ground to either join or support the participants involved. McCann said: “I have been really pleased with how many people at the club have got involved and we have raised a really good amount for such a wonderful charity.

“We want to keep it going, so if any supporters want to join us or just come down and support us, that would be great. Exercise is really good both physically and mentally and I know everyone who is involved would really appreciate the support.”
