Posh Women goalkeeper Neive Corry was presented with the FAWNL Division One Golden Glove award at a special ceremony on Sunday.

The Peterborough United Women shot-stopper received her trophy in the Grand Hall at Wembley Stadium at the end of season FAWNL awards, which proceeded the Adobe Women's FA Cup final between Brighton and Hove Albion and Manchester City.

Corry kept 15 clean sheets in FAWNL Division One Midlands last term as Posh secured promotion to Tier 3 in emphatic style, dropping points in just two games - with both ending 0-0.

Corry said: "It was a brilliant experience to receive the award at Wembley Stadium! It was an incredible season for the team and to help contribute to that success was great.

"It means a lot to me. There are a lot of people who have helped me in the last few years, none more so than my Dad, who has been my coach, he has really improved my game and it has been brilliant to work with him.

"I still look back on the photos from the celebrations from last season with a smile on my face. I am really looking forward to playing at a new level with the team next season."

The awards recognised players, managers and clubs for their achievements on and off the pitch throughout the 2025-2026 season.

Posh manager Jake Poole was nominated for Manager of the Year, but was pipped to the award by the Fulham manager Steve Jaye. Poole's side remained unbeaten throughout the league campaign with preparations already underway for the club's first experience of Tier 3 football.
