Posh confirm departure of Goalkeeping Coach Steve Corry after three successful seasons with the club.

Peterborough United Women's Goalkeeper Coach Steve Corry has departed his role after playing a big part in the club's success over the past three seasons, including last season's promotion to Tier 3.

Corry, who's daughter Neive won the Golden Glove last term after keeping 15 clean sheets as the club secured automatic promotion from FAWNL Division One Midlands, will continue to be a huge supporter of the team moving forward.

Manager Jake Poole said: "Steve has not only been a great support for our goalkeepers but also for every player and staff at the club in his time here.  He is someone who would go the extra mile for anyone and cared for every player and staff member at the club.

"I know he will still be around to support the team and we thank him for all his hard work and commitment to the team in his time with the club."

Corry reflected on his time at Posh with a lot of pride: "So this is the end of an amazing three seasons with this team. I would like to thank Jake for sticking by me and giving me the opportunity. He is a great manager and a good bloke too, although me and Ando (Michael Anderson) agree that he needs to buy a new iron!

"Thank you to Gary (Reed) for always putting the girls first and to my girls, you have all brought smiles to my face every week, you are all amazing women and even better footballers. I am always here for you all.

"I have been lucky to be a part of a league winning team, but what made it special was being able to coach my daughter Neive. An amazing goalkeeper, who is improving every season. To spend time as a Dad too, I have been so lucky. I won't be on the bench, instead I will be in the fans watching as a Dad and as a fan. See you soon."
