Posh midfielder completes permanent switch to League One new boys.

Peterborough United midfielder George Cooper has completed a permanent move to Plymouth Argyle for an undisclosed fee, penning a long-term contract at Home Park following a successful loan stint with the club last season.

Cooper, who joined Posh from Crewe Alexandra in January 2018, made 16 starts and 42 appearances in total for the club scoring five goals.

The 23-year-old made 31 appearances in a loan spell with Plymouth last term, helping them to promotion from Sky Bet League Two. He scored three goals during that time.

We would like to thank George for his efforts and wish him well for the future.
