The Schools Initiative continued this week with a visit to Bourne Abbey Primary School.
The Peterborough United Schools Initiative visited Bourne Abbey Primary School on Tuesday morning with just under 400 children enjoying an assembly featuring a short DVD of goals and the usual mayhem that mascot Peter Burrow provides.
Every pupil in the school received a FREE ticket for a forthcoming fixture at the ABAX Stadium with an adult also admitted free of charge. Press Officer Phil Adlam said: “A big thank you to everyone at Bourne Abbey for the warm welcome and for accommodating us at short notice. Everybody was really enthusiastic about our visit and I know that Peter had fun.
“We look forward to welcoming pupils from the school to an upcoming league game and hope they enjoy themselves.”
