Peterborough United travel to the New Meadow knowing a victory will secure a Sky Bet League One play-off spot.
Peterborough United travel to the New Meadow on Saturday to face Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League One action (3pm) knowing that a victory would cement their place in the play-offs.
Darren Ferguson's men are currently four points clear of Swindon with two games to play. The Robins are in action at Notts County, who like Shrewsbury, are scrapping for their lives near the foot of the division.
In terms of team selection, Posh are without the services of Shaun Brisley who serves the second of his two-match suspension following his dismissal at Bradford City.
Midfielder Danny Swanson is unlikely to be risked despite making excellent progress from his ankle injury. The Posh boss confirmed Swanson would be available for the play-offs should Posh reach them.
Shrewsbury captain Tamika Mkandawire (foot) and midfielder Dave McAllister (ankle) will both miss Saturday's game.
Jermaine Grandison is a doubt for Town, who will be relegated if they do not beat Peterborough, but fellow defender Dave Winfield may return from illness.
FROM THE MANAGERS
'Shrewsbury need to win the game so that should dictate how they play. We know what we need to do and we go there with confidence after four wins from six. Pretty much everyone is available for selection, so I have a tough decision to make on the starting line-up,' Ferguson said.
'We've got to get back to being hard to beat, solid and competitive - and we've got to win, simple as that. The players have things to prove. Whatever motivates them - money, personal pride, the club, the fans, they've got to go out there and show what they can do. I think you should see your mum and dad or your wife and kids in the stand, and show them they can say afterwards: listen - he hasn't given up without a fight,' Shrewsbury manager Michael Jackson said.
TICKET INFORMATION
The game is ALL-TICKET with tickets on sale until 5pm from the London Road Box Office, online at www.theposhtickets.com and via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934.
