Bobby Olejnik has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award.

Peterborough United goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for October.

Here are the contenders for the award;

Carl Baker (Coventry City) – midfielder
A mazy run and long-range strike which put his side on their way to a 3-1 win over Leyton Orient was the personal highlight, but his passing ability and captaincy also stood out as he drove his side through an unbeaten October.

Patrick Bamford (Milton Keynes Dons) – striker
The on-loan youngster continued his cultured hold-up play and free-scoring ways with four goals which included a wonderfully cushioned control and assured finish against Gillingham and a pinpoint late winner over Rotherham United.

James Henry (Wolverhampton Wanderers) - winger
Has brought traditional wing play and a wonderful array of crosses to Molineux since joining on loan from Millwall. Provided a hat-trick of assists in the 3-0 win at Colchester United, another at Bradford City and has scored twice himself.

Bobby Olejnik (Peterborough United) - goalkeeper
The last line of an increasingly watertight Posh defence, he kept four clean sheets and conceded just a single goal. Dominated his area and produced a number of fine reaction saves, notably late on in the win over Shrewsbury Town.

The winners will be announced on Friday November 8 2013. The judging panel comprises Sky Sports Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins
