Posh host Ipswich Town at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Peterborough United host Ipswich Town at London Road on Saturday afternoon in the npower Championship (3pm) with Darren Ferguson's men looking to make it seven points from nine this week.
Following the 3-2 win at Blackburn Rovers and the 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic, Posh have an opportunity to climb out of the drop zone if they secure three points and other results go in their favour.
Posh could welcome back midfielder Davide Petrucci from injury for the game while Tyrone Barnett is pushing for a start after an impressive display in the reserve fixture with Gillingham earlier this week.
Ipswich pair Lee Martin and Richard Stearman will be both unavailable for the clash at London Road.
Both were sent off during Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest and winger Martin will now start a three-match ban while defender Stearman, who received two yellow cards, serves a one-match suspension.
Captain Carlos Edwards will be assessed after a groin injury ruled him out of only his second game this season at the City Ground.
Posh beat Ipswich 7-1 at London Road last term with striker Lee Tomlin bagging his first hat-trick in the Football League. Tomlin said: 'It was an unbelievable day and I can still remember each of the three goals.
'It will be a far different fixture this time around though. They have changed their manager and a lot of the squad is different. It is a massive game though, like a cup final,' Tomlin said.
Ipswich have sold over 2,000 tickets for the game. Posh fans are reminded that under 16s can watch the action for just £5 in the Norwich and Peterborough Stand while under 10s are admitted FREE of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
