Grant McCann has signed a two-year player-coach deal at Peterborough United.
Midfielder Grant McCann has signed a new two-year player-coach deal at Peterborough United, putting pen to paper at the hotel in Ireland.
The Northern Ireland international will work with the under 15s and help Gary Breen with the reserve team at London Road.
The experienced midfield man was delighted that everything has been finalised and is looking forward to helping the club return to the Championship at the first time of asking.
'I am delighted that everything is sorted and I can look forward to the game against Shelbourne on Tuesday night. My family is settled in the area, this club deserves to be in the Championship and I want to help us get there.
'I know all about League One, but it is not a league we want to stay in very long. The chairman wants to win the title and all of the players want to achieve that too. I am looking forward to the coaching aspect of the role, it is something I am very interested in. I have done some of my badges already and I am looking forward to working with the under 15s and doing a bit with the reserves,' McCann said.
