Posh visit the New Den on Tuesday night to take on FA Cup quarter-finalists Millwall.

Peterborough United return to npower Championship action on Tuesday night when they travel to the New Den to face Millwall (7.45pm).

The Lions, who are FA Cup quarter-finalists after beating Luton Town at the weekend, are not in the best league form, particularly since the departure of Chris Wood to Leicester City during the transfer window.

Posh were without a fixture at the weekend, but boss Darren Ferguson did watch Millwall at close-quarters, travelling to Kenilworth Road to see the clash with the Hatters.

Ferguson welcomes back striker Jaanai Gordon and defender Craig Alcock from injury while young left-back Kgosi Ntlhe is back in contention after a long lay-off with an ankle injury.

Tyrone Barnett and Peter Grant are still out although the former is only two weeks away from full fitness after a knee injury.

Posh drew 2-2 at the New Den last season with Lee Frecklington and Paul Taylor on target, the latter scoring his first goal for the club in the process.

Ferguson said: 'We were probably fortunate to get a point against Millwall at their place last season. I watched Millwall on Saturday at Luton and the played well, they are a good, strong, organised team.

'My players may not have had a game on Saturday, but we trained and we are going there to win. It will be tough, but the squad are confident particularly after the win over Leicester City,' Ferguson said.
