Jaanai Gordon earns Posh reserves a 1-1 draw.
Striker Jaanai Gordon earned Peterborough United a 1-1 draw against a strong Hull City side at the Nene Park Academy on Tuesday afternoon.
The teenager accepted a cross from lively substitute Tom Conlon before volleying past the goalkeeper to earn a deserved draw for Posh.
Jonson Clarke-Harris was twice denied by the Tigers goalkeeper while Danny Swanson's fine run should have ended in a simple finish for the Scot, but he fired wide of the target.
At the other end, Joe Day made a couple of decent stops but was powerless to stop Posh trialist Kevin Feely inadvertently putting the ball in the back of the net from a low cross.
Both Darren Ferguson and Steve Bruce were present to watch the action.
Posh: Day, Butt, Feely, Burgess (sub Hendry), Sage, Ferdinand, Swanson (sub Conlon), Anderson, Coulson, Clarke-Harris, Gordon (sub Carthy).
