The forward made his debut for the first team back in August in the Carabao Cup victory over Plymouth Argyle, which saw him grab an assist for Joe Taylor’s goal. Gabe suffered an injury-hit 2022/23 season, but has hit the ground running in pre-season, scoring five goals in six games. A talented tennis player, he had the choice of whether to continue his development in that sport or dedicate his career to football and chose the latter and has been a regular goal-scorer at under 18 level.
