Ellie May joined Posh in the summer of 2026, arriving with Tier 3 experience from her time with West Bromwich Albion. May, who is a former England Under 18 international, is a graduate of Derby County's Academy and also spent a spell in the United States of America before representing Sheffield United, Burnley and the Baggies. 

May can operate as a central striker or as a wide forward, as as she demonstrated in the club's first ever win at Tier 3, scoring twice in the win over Liverpool Feds.
