Harrison Jones joined Posh from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2026, penning a long-term contract with the club. Jones made seven appearances for the Black Cats in all competitions after joining the Black Cats as a six-year-old. 

He was named on the bench for the first team in a number of fixtures during 2026, including Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, and has been a regular in the PL2 (Premier League 2) throughout last season. Jones can play in a variety of midfield positions and describes himself as a box-to-box player. He is energetic, athletic and will add something different to Luke Williams' options this season.
