Owura Edwards joined Posh in June 2026 for an undisclosed fee from Sky Bet League Two side Colchester United, becoming the latest player to make the move between the two sides with Frankie Kent, Kwame Poku and Bradley Ihionvien all arriving from the U's in recent seasons.

A quick, direct winger, Edwards started his career with Bristol City, working with current boss Luke Williams in the process before loan spells at a number of clubs including Exeter City, Grimsby Town and Ross County before making a permanent move to Colchester in 2023.

He made just shy of 100 appearances for the U's before making the move to the Weston Homes Stadium on a long-term deal.
