David Kamara joined Posh in 2024 after some eye-catching performances for non-league Welling United. He scored his first two goals for Posh in a 5-0 rout of Rotherham United at the Weston Homes Stadium, demonstrating his excellent penalty technique in the process.

He helped Harborough Town to promotion during a prolific loan spell before being recalled to PE2 for the second half of the campaign under Luke Williams. Kamara is a strong, powerful front man with a good turn of pace, and can operate down the middle as a number nine or as a wider forward, which allows him to cut inside onto his left-foot.
