Defender Rio Adebisi joined Posh in the summer of 2024 after an outstanding campaign with Crewe Alexandra during the 2023-2024 season, which saw the Railwaymen reach the Sky Bet League Two play-off final. An attack-minded left-back, Adebisi was signed to replace the departed Harrison Burrows, but unfortunately suffered a serious injury during pre-season, which has ruled him out until at least the end of October 2024.
