A mixture of Under 21s, 18s and trialists will be in the squad as the Posh Professional Phase open their pre-season account on Saturday.
The Peterborough United youngsters will travel to Buckinghamshire to face Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday as the pre-season friendly programme gets underway.
Under 21s Lead Coach Sam Gaughran will be joined by Lead Under 18s Coach Jimmy Unwin as the two groups form together for the clash with the Chairboys.
Gaughran said: "This game will be a combination of Under 21s and 18s, supplemented by a group of trialists, who we are taking a look at. It will be good to get 45 minutes into the legs of everyone.
"The Under 21s group is a core of six or seven players and then that will be added to by players playing up and first team players coming down for minutes, very much like last season.
"Wycombe will be a good test for us. They have an Under 18s group and a B team, so it will be a similar type of group. They have a good area to recruit from and it will be good to catch up with Matt Dye, who is there, who used to be part of our Academy staff."
