General Manager Sam Winch has penned the following letter to supporters ahead of today's FA Women's National League Midlands match at PIMS Park.

Good afternoon and welcome to PIMS Park for this afternoon’s fixture against Sutton Coldfield Town Women. On behalf of everyone at Peterborough United Women, thank you for joining us and for your continued support – it truly makes a difference to everyone connected with the club.

Today’s match is another important step in what has been a demanding and exciting season. The players and staff are well aware of what three points would mean to us today and we are fully aware of the strengths and weaknesses the opposition possess. Sutton Coldfield arrive as tough and competitive opponents, and we know we will need to be at a similar level to last week's 6-0 thumping of Lincoln United to get all three points today.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our volunteers, sponsors, officials and everyone behind the scenes who help make matchdays possible. Most importantly, thank you to our supporters for backing the team week in, week out. I must also pay homage to the fantastic ground staff here at PIMS Park, who have managed to provide a playable surface today, despite the horrendous weather over recent weeks. Also, a huge welcome to our mascots from Sawtry Colts, who join us today. We hope you enjoy the day!

Your encouragement from the stands means more than you know. Enjoy the game, get behind the players, and let’s continue our unbeaten run, here at the fortress, PIMS Park.

Up the Posh!

Sam Winch
