Due to an internal restructure and an increased emphasis on the Posh Women's department at the Football Club, it has been decided to part ways with Sam Winch.
Sam has done a fantastic job in his time as General Manager of the Women's team, culminating in last season's league triumph and this decision is in no way a reflection on Sam or the job he did in any way.
It is simply borne out of a desire to move the Women's team forward in a way we feel will benefit the club in both the short, medium and long term. Sam leaves with our gratitude and very best wishes and we wish him every success in the future.
We have high hopes for our Women's team and Academy for the coming season and look forward to achieving more success on and off the pitch - keep an eye out for positive changes and exciting new singings both on and off the field as we look to build on what Jake and the team achieved last season.
