We are delighted to announce that winger Lauren Wilshaw has committed her future to the Posh Women for the 2026/27 campaign.
Wilshaw was the assist queen last season, with 16 in all competitions, as the Peterborough United Women secured automatic promotion from FAWNL Division One Midlands following an unforgettable campaign.
The winger, who also found the back of the net six times, becomes the latest member of Jake Poole's promotion-winning squad to commit her future following the announcements of Neive Corry, Edyn Osker, Evie Driscoll-King, Anna Pitt, Keir Perkins, Poppie Brown and Hayley James.
Manager Jake Poole said: "Lauren's contribution over the last two seasons has been a match winning one on a number of occasions. We know she has the ability to continue to add that to us and can't wait to see that this season."
Wilshaw said: "I am really happy to be here for another season! I am excited to show the teams in Tier 3 what we can do as a team and hopefully we can keep entertaining the fans along the way."
Wilshaw was Poole’s fifth signing of the 2024/25 summer from childhood club Stoke City. The winger enjoyed a spell at fellow FAWNL Division One Midlands side Notts County in the 2023/24 season before her arrival.
