Joe Ward has been shortlisted for the League One Player of the Month.
Peterborough United star Joe Ward has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for August after a stellar few weeks, which has seen him create goals for others as well as notching his first goal of the campaign in the emphatic victory over Morecambe at the Weston Homes Stadium.
Ward is up against Bristol Rovers striker Aaron Collins, Sheffield Wednesday midfielder and Cambridge United front man Sam Smith. The winner will be announced on Friday morning. The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
