Lead Under 18 Coach Jimmy Unwin has given his reaction to the FA Youth Cup draw, which has paired Posh with Manchester United.
The reward for the Peterborough United Under 18s for back to back home victories over Lincoln City and Boldmere St Michaels is a plum FA Youth Cup third round tie away at Manchester United.
Lead Under 18s Coach Jimmy Unwin, who said after the win over Boldmere that he was excited for a potential trip on the road, was understandably elated with the draw.
"I am absolutely delighted with the draw. I wanted an away tie, I wanted a different challenge for the boys and this throws up one of the biggest challenges you could possibly face in Under 18s football.
"They have got an unbelievable history of developing international talent, so it will be a massive for our boys, but we will give it our best shot and hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves.
"We are looking forward to it, whenever the tie takes place, but we have plenty of important games between now and then in the league and that is not just important in terms of results, but also the development of our players.
"It gives an opportunity for some of the boys who missed out in round two to be involved so there is plenty of competition for places. We should have a competitive squad."
Confirmation of when and where the tie will take place will be confirmed in due course.
