After a successful 2025/26, the Under 21s will get their preparations underway for the new campaign with a trip to Buckinghamshire to face Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday 11th July.
The players will then travel to Malaga in Spain for a short training camp, On Tuesday 28th July, the youngsters travel to Harborough Town before heading to Corby Town on Saturday 1st August (3pm). The club are finalising the opponents for a game on the 11th August with the league campaign set to get underway on Tuesday 18th August.
Lead Under 21s Coach Sam Gaughran said: "It is really important when you are planning a pre-season to provide the players with different tests, whether that be from a physical point of view or a technical point of view.
"We have a few men's teams in the schedule, which will provide a strong physical test for our players and we have a couple more games which will be a test in a different way.
"We had a really strong campaign last term and hopefully that can continue into the 2026/27 season. A lot of the players that will be in our group have played regular Under 18s football and some have already been involved for us before, so we are confident in the group and are looking forward to working with them.
"We had a lot of players that were given opportunities in the first team last year and that is always our aim, to get them ready and prepared for any chances that come their way."
The club will confirm kick-off times for a number of the above fixtures in due course and also announce the details of the upcoming Under 18s friendlies.
