The Posh under 21s are back in action on Tuesday night with Sunderland the visitors to the home of Stamford Football Club (7pm).
The Peterborough United under 21s welcome Sunderland to the Zeeco Stadium, home of Stamford FC, on Tuesday night as the PL Cup group phrase draws to a close.
Ryan Semple's men recorded an impressive 3-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur in the last group fixture with Pemi Aderoju bagging a brace.
Aderoju, who made his first team debut in the defeat to Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend, is set to be involved against the Black Cats.
Semple said: "We want to try and end the campaign with a positive performance and result. We got both against Tottenham and hopefully we can carry that forward against a good Sunderland side."
