Bolu Shofowoke was again on target, but the Under 21s were pegged back for a point by Wigan Athletic.
The Peterborough United Under 21s were forced to settle for a point against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday afternoon as the home side came back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw.
Sam Gaughran's team were excellent in the first half, dominating the action, but were unable to find a breakthrough but second half strikes from Bolu SHOFOWOKE and James DORNELLY put them in control.
However, a Joe Andrews own-goal and a Harrison Rimmer effort secured a point from the hosts as they changed their approach in the final 20 minutes to go more direct.
Gaughran said: "We dominated the game for 70 minutes, it was a really strong display, but in the final 20 minutes, they went a little bit more direct and changed their formation for the third time in the game, which to be fair, shows how well we were doing.
"It was disappointing not to win the game, but there were lots of positives to take from the performance and we can take that into the next fixture."
