The Posh Under 18s were beaten 5-1 by Luton Town in the second group game of the PDL Cup on Saturday morning.
The Peterborough United Under 18s failed to follow up the 6-3 victory over AFC Wimbledon in the Professional Development League Cup as they were beaten 5-1 by Luton Town.
The score-line was perhaps a little harsh on Hugh Alban-Jones' side who were still very much in the contest at 3-1, but two late goals gave the home side a more convincing victory.
Trailing 2-0 at the interval, Posh pulled a goal back through DAGNE three minutes into the second half, but the Hatters made it 3-1 soon after and scored two goals in the last 10 minutes.
