Taewoong Kim

Posh first team Sports Scientist Taewoong Kim is set to present at upcoming conference in Italy.

Following Tuesday night's Sky Bet League One fixture with Huddersfield Town, first team Sports Scientist Taewoong Kim flew out to Italy to present at the National Strength and Conditioning Association's annual conference.

Representing the football club at the conference, he will share his knowledge and experience in front of hundreds of practitioners from across the globe.

Head of Academy Sports Science Danny Horton said: "Kim has been with us for just over two years, having initially joined the club as a volunteer Sport Science Intern. Since then, he has played a crucial role in the development of the Sport Science department over the last few seasons, progressing from his initial internship to Lead Academy Sport Scientist and now into his current position as First Team Sport Scientist.

"Kim’s commitment to continually developing himself and those around him, alongside the strong relationships he builds with players and staff, has been instrumental in his progression and the positive impact he has made across the club.

"The opportunity for Kim to present at the National Strength and Conditioning Association conference in Italy is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the work he has carried out at the club. It is an extremely proud moment for everyone at the club to see Kim share his knowledge, experience and the work we do at Peterborough United to hundreds of practitioners from across the world."
