The Posh Under 21s travel to Swansea City in their latest fixture, which takes place in Wales on Tuesday afternoon (12pm).
The Peterborough United Under 21s set off on the long trip to Wales on Monday in preparation for Tuesday's lunchtime date with Swansea City in the latest Professional Development League fixture.
Sam Gaughran's side, who were 2-0 winners last week against Queens Park Rangers at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground, will be looking to build on that performance against the Swans.
They are expected to have Bastian Smith available after he provided the understudy to first-choice goalkeeper Alex Bass on Saturday against Mansfield Town with Collin Andeng Ndi unwell.
TEAM NEWS
With the senior side in action at Watford in the second round of the Carabao Cup and nine substitutes able to be named, it is expected to be a younger group that participates against the Swans.
MANAGER QUOTES
"Swansea are very similar to us in terms of how we set-up and play, which means it should be a good game of football. They have a long history of producing good young players and their current group is no different. We are looking forward to the challenge," Lead Under 21s coach Sam Gaughran said.
