A look ahead to Tuesday night's pre-season friendly against Stamford at the Zeeco Stadium (7.30pm).
Peterborough United make the short journey to Stamford for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening as Darren Ferguson's men continue their preparations for the new Sky Bet League One campaign.
Posh kicked off their friendly programme with a competitive game against Sky Bet Championship side Leicester City at Seagrave, the training ground of the Foxes, on Saturday with the hosts running out 3-1 winners.
Chris Conn-Clarke was on target for Posh with Brandon Khela also hitting the crossbar on his first appearance for the club following his summer move from Birmingham City.
TEAM NEWS
Defenders Oscar Wallin and Sam Hughes are not expected to feature as they continue to work hard on their fitness while Rio Adebisi is not due back until September. Goalkeeper Will Blackmore missed the defeat to Leicester due to a knock.
Lucca Mendonca, Ollie Rose, Davon Gbajumo and Bolu Shofowoke are expected to be in the squad after spending time at St. George's Park last week.
FROM THE MANAGER
"We had a good week at St. George's Park and the first pre-season game was a good competitive game, it is a new week now and we look forward to a game at Stamford and a game behind closed doors against a Championship side on Saturday at their training ground.
"Again, the players will get 45 minutes and then we will look to increase that as we progress through the pre-season programme," Darren Ferguson said.
