It has been an incredible spell for the Posh Women, which was capped off earlier this year when they featured in the third round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup for the very first time in the club’s history, only losing to a wonderful strike from distance against a side competing in the Barclay’s Women’s Championship.
Competing in Division One Midlands of the FAWNL, which is two divisions below their opponents in that cup-tie, Durham Women, Posh, who are managed by Dan Lawlor, are very much making great strides in the game, beating Long Eaton Ladies 8-0 on their return to league action at the weekend, making it is the perfect time for a business or group of individuals to get involved in the club.
