Striker Kurtis Simmons continued his fine form with a hat-trick in the 3-3 draw with Bristol City for the Under 21s.
The Peterborough United Under 21s fought back from 3-1 down to earn a point against a much more experienced Bristol City side at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon.
Sam Gaughran selected a side that included two under 16s, three under 17s and an 18-year-old with no player over the age of 18 among the substitutes, while the Robins included two 26-year-olds in their line-up.
It was an even first 20 minutes of the contest at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground with O'Neill going close for the visitors inside the opening five minutes before McWilliams-Marcano saw a shot turned on to the outside of the post by Godden on 21 minutes.
Patryk Sykut saw a cross-shot tipped away from danger by Godden before the keeper did well to push away a free-kick from the same Posh player.
On 40 minutes, the Robins got their noses in front as YEBOAH tapped home from close-range as Posh failed to deal with a corner kick. Moments later, Aaron Sudakaran produced a fine clearance off the line to deny O'Neill.
A minute before the break, City did make it 2-0 as Rhys KNIGHT finished off a flowing move. However, that two goal cushion didn't last long as SIMMONS headed home a delicious cross from McWilliams-Marcano.
Bastian Smith produced a fine top to keep out an effort from Sheppard three minutes into the second half before Morrison curled a shot wide of the upright. On 51 minutes, it was 3-1 as O'NEILL took advantage of a defensive error to lift the ball over Smith.
Morrison fired wide with the goal gaping moments later before SIMMONS reduced the deficit, poking home from close-range at the second attempt after more good work from McWilliams-Marcano.
SIMMONS completed his hat-trick on 77 minutes as he fired home from close-range after McWilliams-Marcano again kept the ball alive in the area. Sudakaran and Smith both produced good blocks as the game entered the final 10 minutes.
Nyloa flashed a shot wide of the post on 86 minutes before Smith got a fingertip to a fierce Nyloa effort to tip the ball onto the post as Posh picked up an unlikely point.
