Peterborough United Women will wrap up their away calendar with a trip to Sheffield FC on Sunday (2pm).
Peterborough United Women arrive in S18 in a confident mood, having already secured automatic promotion with last week’s dominance over Kidderminster Harriers.
The result made it 20 league games unbeaten this season and 28 overall, as we now look to put an end to a historic campaign on the road.
But despite the title having already been secured, Jake Poole’s team still has unfinished business with two games of the regular season left, as they look to enter the third tier unbeaten and with all the momentum.
TEAM NEWS
Jake Poole is expected to heavily rotate his squad this weekend and has a full selection to do so. Courtney Clarke got her first minutes since injury, while Hayley James lasted the full 90 on her return to the team. Niamh Reynolds meanwhile served her suspension in the win over Barnsley and joined the team back up with a goal on Sunday.
MANAGER QUOTES
“The players have that personal pride to finish what we have started. The season we have had is exactly what we wanted and of course we enjoyed the moment and celebrated the achievement on Sunday, but now it is about finishing the job and trying to end the season unbeaten," Jake Poole said.
