The Peterborough United Football Club Women’s Academy has opened applications for Talent ID Sessions for the 2026-27 season.
Girls can apply for Talent ID Sessions for our Emerging Talent Centre (Under U9-Under 14) our Under 8 Pre-Academy Development Group (Under 7-Under 8) and our post ETC Club Squads (Under 15-Under 18).
The Women’s Academy provides an opportunity for talented players in the Peterborough area to access high quality coaching and off the pitch support around their performance. The Academy provides weekly sessions and a fixture programme to complement their club programme. Girls are expected to live within a 1-hour drive of the One Leisure, Sawtry Training Ground to register with us.

Spaces for our Talent ID sessions are limited and once capacity is reached, we will be unable to accept further applications. Please ensure you are available for the date you have selected.

Deadline for applications to trial for next season close on Friday June 5th, 2026.
What are we looking for?
We understand that players come in all different varieties with a mixture of strengths and weaknesses. We take into account a player's technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social attributes, as well as looking at relative age effect and maturation rates. We also have to compare with our current player cohort in the Academy to assess whether a target player has the potential to be better than the players we already have registered.
