Peterborough United Women will look to maintain the perfect home league record when they host Sutton Coldfield on Sunday (2pm).

The Royals’ trip down from the West Midlands offers Jake Poole’s side a chance to climb above Boldmere St Michaels to pole position, who are in action at the Amber Arena and Community Stadium and host Northampton Town.

A comfortable 6-0 win away at Lincoln United saw us make it 12 unbeaten in the FA Women’s National League and close the gap to two points with as many games in hand over the Mikes.

Posh hold a strong record at home since their return to the city, picking up maximum points from six games, and will look to go one better on Sunday, with tickets still available at theposhtickets.com.

TEAM NEWS

Niamh Reynolds is back out on the grass and should be back in the matchday squad soon, while a couple players are being monitored ahead of Sunday.

MANAGER QUOTES

"They’re probably one of the better teams in the league and have been for the past year or so now. They have got some really good, young technical players who play the right way, and they can mix it up as well. Obviously, they haven’t had the results this season that they would have liked, but they are certainly a team we will respect, and it should be a good game," Jake Poole said.
