Peterborough United Women kick-off their home league programme at PIMS Park on Sunday (2pm) with Lincoln United the task at hand in the FAWNL.
Peterborough United Women will be looking to hold onto their early league lead when they welcome Lincoln United to PIMS Park on Sunday afternoon.
Niamh Reynolds’ three goals followed a stand-alone Niamh Connor header as Jake Poole’s side ran out 4-1 winners at Notts County on the opening day of the season.
While Jake Poole’s side are riding high in the league, their opponents, however, make the trip on the back of consecutive defeats to Boldmere St. Michaels and then Sheffield FC in the FAWNL Cup group phase.
The same competition saw us suffer our first loss in six in midweek, as Norwich City – who were up by two players on the full-time whistle - took a 2-0 victory at the Nest.

Hayley James, Emily Meli and Tara Kirk are not expected to feature as they continue their rehabilitation from injuries sustained in pre-season. Manager Jake Poole made several changes for the cup-tie in midweek and has decisions to make when it comes to his starting XI.
