We can confirm that the Peterborough United Women U23s will participate in the FA Women’s National League Reserve Midlands Division from the 2023/24 season.

The Posh Women U23s (previously known as Posh Women Development Squad) had played in the East Midland’s Women’s Regional Football League Division One South for the last two seasons, but will now compete in the FA Women’s National League Reserve Midlands Division from the 2023/24 campaign onwards.

They will remain playing their home games at the idverde Training Ground, with all matches having a 3pm kick-off time.

We can also announce the Posh Women U23s fixtures for the upcoming campaign and will begin the season with an away fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday 3rd September before hosting Lincoln City Development in their 

Posh Women U23s will begin their campaign with an away fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday 3rd September. Michael Allesbrook’s side will host Lincoln City Development in their first home fixture of the season on Sunday 24th September.

The Posh Women U23s are scheduled to end their debut season in the FA Women’s National League Reserve Midlands Division at home to Boldmere St Michael’s Development.

The opening round of the FA Women’s National League Cup will take place on Sunday 10th September. The Posh Women U23s will also be involved in the County Cup with the first round set to commence on Sunday 19th November.

Teams competing in the FAWN Reserve Midlands Division: 

Boldmere St Michaels, Derby County, Doncaster Rovers Belles, Lincoln City, Notts County, Sporting Khalsa, Stoke City, Stourbridge, Sutton Coldfield Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
