The Posh Women have strengthened their attacking options with the eye-catching signing of former West Bromwich Albion striker Ellie May.
May, who is a former England Under 18 international, is a graduate of Derby County's Academy and also spent a spell in the United States of America before representing Sheffield United, Burnley and the Baggies.
Manager Jake Poole is delighted with May's arrival and believes her experience of higher level football will be invaluable to his squad ahead of the club's first experience of Tier 3.
"Ellie is a player that brings a wealth of experience across both WSL2 and Tier 3 in recent seasons and will bring quality and real athleticism to the squad.
"She is a player that shows our ambition to progress as a football club and will be a big driver in helping us go to the next level," Poole enthused.
May is excited for the challenge: "I am delighted to be joining the club and excited for this new chapter. After speaking with Jake and Lou (Roberts), I could really see the ambition and professionalism throughout the club and it was a project I wanted to be a part of.
"I can't wait to get started, meet the fans and my new team-mates and give everything I have got this season. Let's get to work!
