The Posh Women suffered a 3-1 defeat at West Bromwich Albion in Northern Premier Division action.
Peterborough United Women were beaten 3-1 by West Bromwich Albion in their latest Northern Premier League fixture with Jake Poole's side ending with 10 players following a second yellow card issued to Anna Pitt.
It was a spell just after the re-start that ultimately cost Posh with the home side scoring twice inside 10 minutes and Pitt's dismissal made a comeback in the last half hour difficult.
Goalkeeper Neive Corry produced a host of first half saves to keep the scores level and went on to make 11 saves in the contest with the first of them a routine stop from Reynolds.
Corry clawed a curling effort from Oakley away from danger on 12 minutes before denying Hollin six minutes later. On 21 minutes, Corry produced another fine stop to deny a long-range strike from Oakley before denying Mannu with her feet
It was HOLLIN who eventually broke the deadlock, firing high into the net with her left-foot on the half hour mark. Posh responded well with Niamh Reynolds denied by the goalkeeper before Driscoll's follow-up was blocked.
On 37 minutes, Posh found the equaliser as a cross from Evie Driscoll-King was headed home expertly by the in-form Ellie MAY. Pitt was cautioned for a foul before Driscoll-King fired over with her left-foot after a good pass forward.
Corry made a routine stop two minutes into the second half before the home side took control. They scored twice in five minutes with MANNU and RUSH on target.
Corry did well to keep out a curling free-kick on 65 minutes and then did well with the rebound too before substitute Lauren Wilshaw side-footed wide at the back post after good work from Poppie Brown and May.
Posh were down to 10 players on 73 minutes as Pitt was shown a second yellow card after a melee following a challenge in the middle of the park. Corry did well to keep out the resulting free-kick with Keir Perkins' cross-shot the final action of the game.
