The Posh Women have bolstered their attacking options with the arrival of a Malta international.
The Peterborough United Women have made their third summer signing with the arrival of forward Crista Chetcuti Ganado from Leicester City, where she has played a big part in helping the Foxes Under 21s win the PGA Division 2 title.
Ganado, who has been part of England youth squads in the past, made her first senior start for Malta earlier this year and will provide another attacking option for manager Jake Poole.
"Crista is an exciting young talent. She is really ambitious and that ambition really matches what we are doing here at Peterborough United. She has made her senior debut for Malta and in joining us, becomes the club's first full international.
"It is a privilege that she has decided to continue her footballing journey with us and we are excited to see how she does for both club and country."
Ganado is excited to get started and can't wait for the new challenge that lies ahead. "I am delighted to be here! I am looking forward to the new challenge and can't wait to get started. It will be a competitive league but it is one that I am looking forward to testing myself in."
