Crista Chetcuti Ganado scored the only goal of the game as the Posh Women recorded a second pre-season victory of the campaign.
The Peterborough United Women made it two wins from three in pre-season as a close-range strike from Crista Ganado earned a 1-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers.
The Maltese forward was well positioned to convert after good work from Keir Perkins and it proved to be the winner in a competitive encounter played in the summer sunshine.
Goalkeeper Neive Corry made a couple of good stops to preserve the clean sheet, while Posh came close at the other end with efforts from range.
After a 5-0 win over Sutton Coldfield Town and a defeat at Tier 3 side Oxford United, the win over the Hoops sets the team up nicely for forthcoming pre-season games as preparations continue for the start of the campaign.
Manager Jake Poole said: "I am pleased for Crista to get her first goal, all strikers want to get off the mark and she was bright and in the right place to score after Keir did well down the right.
"It was another game that we were learned a lot from, we showed a lot of grit and determination to get the victory and that was pleasing to see the girls show that mentality by throwing themselves into blocks and tackles.
"There are things that we didn't do well today, but you will get that sometimes in pre-season, the main objective is to get minutes into the legs and we did that today."
