Posh Women’s pre-season schedule has been confirmed.
Peterborough United Women can announce their pre-season schedule ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 FA Women’s National League campaign.
Dan Lawlor’s side will embark on a pre-season training camp for a second consecutive season in the opening weekend of July, re-visiting Worksop Private Collage after a positive experience last season.
Posh will then begin their pre-season schedule the following Sunday (16th July) as they face FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division side Wolverhampton Wanderers at home before a trip to Southern Premier side Ipswich Town on Sunday 23rd July.
They will then face MK Dons on Wednesday 26th July before Norwich City Women on Sunday 30th July with both fixtures at home. Posh then face a trip to Eastern Region Women's Football League side Royston Town Women on Wednesday 2nd August, with the venue still to be confirmed.
Lawlor’s side will round off their schedule with a visit from Cambridge United Women before facing Leicester City Women U21s squad ahead of the opening weekend of the season in the FA Women's National League. This fixture will take place behind closed doors and supporters will not be able to attend.
