Posh welcome Rotherham United to the Weston Homes Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

Peterborough United are back at home on Tuesday night as Luke Williams' side welcome Rotherham United to the Weston Homes Stadium in Sky Bet League One action (7.45pm).

The Millers are currently occupying one of four relegation spots and were pegged back for a 2-2 draw against Bolton Wanderers at Saturday lunch-time, after racing into a 2-0 lead against the promotion hopefuls.

Posh go into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Leyton Orient and currently sit in 14th place in the table.

TEAM NEWS

Posh are without skipper Carl Johnston, who suffered a calf injury in the defeat to the O's. He underwent a scan on Monday and a timeline for his rehabilitation will be formulated on the receipt of the results.

Harley Mills returned to action at Orient and fellow left-back Jacob Mendy will be available for selection against the Millers. Ben Woods is expected to return to the squad on Saturday for the trip to AFC Wimbledon.

Tom Lees, Harry Leonard, Sam Hughes, Rio Adebisi, Matt Garbett and Donay O'Brien-Brady remain unavailable due to injury.

Rotherham are expected to be without Hamish Douglas, Denzel Hall, Kian Spence, Marvin Kaleta, Joshua Kayode and Jordan Hugill and there are doubts over other individuals.

ONE TO WATCH

Sam Nombe

The Millers signed Sam Nombe (pictured below) from Exeter City, with the Croydon-born frontman penning a four-year deal with the club which will run until the summer of 2027.

Nombe fired home 17 goals for Exeter City and since the former MK Dons man checked in at AESSEAL New York Stadium, he's shone in Millers colours, netting memorable strikes against Ipswich Town and Cardiff City. He has missed a large chunk of this season with injury, but his return is key to help the club move away from trouble at the bottom of the division. Posh boss Luke Williams worked with Nombe prior to taking charge at Posh in 2025.

MANAGER QUOTES

"I worked with Sam and he is someone that can score goals at this level, you have to remain concentrated at all times because he comes alive in the penalty area. Saturday's performance at Orient wasn't a bad one; there were positives in the first half, but we know that our final action in the final third was not at the standard. We are back at home, in front of our own fans and we have to use that energy," Luke Williams said.

TICKET NEWS

Tickets are on sale here and via the Weston Homes Stadium Ticket Office. Rotherham fans will be accommodated in the away section of the Kings Power Solutions Stand and they have sold 200 as of Monday at 3pm. The GH Display Stand is closed for this fixture.

The Pleasure Fair Meadow car park will be closed to supporters on Tuesday as it is now occupied by a funfair. Fans are advised to park in the city centre at the multiple multi-storey parking facilities.
