ONE TO WATCH
Jon Russell
Jon Russell (pictured below) joined Stags on loan from Barnsley until the end of the 25/26 season in January 2026. The powerful midfielder made his debut for Mansfield in the club's 4-3 Emirates FA Cup win over Sheffield United on Sunday 11th January.
The Jamaica international began his career at Chelsea before moving on loan to Accrington Stanley in October 2020 where he made 25 appearances, scoring twice. He then joined Huddersfield before making the move to Oakwell.
MANAGER QUOTES
"The game between the two sides earlier this year is a good blueprint for us in terms of the way we defended and how ruthless we were at the other end of the pitch. They are one of the best sides we have played, they were outstanding on the night, but we put our bodies on the line, blocked shots, headed crosses away and we are going to need to do those basics on Tuesday," Luke Williams said.
