Posh welcome Huddersfield Town to the Weston Homes Stadium in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Peterborough United are back in action at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday as Luke Williams' side welcome high-flying Huddersfield Town to PE2 (3pm) in Sky Bet League One action.
Posh go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Stevenage on Tuesday night, but know a victory over the Terriers would close the gap on the top six in the division.
Huddersfield have enjoyed an upturn in fortunes since the appointment of Liam Manning as manager as they look to return to the Sky Bet Championship and fulfil the pre-season expectations.
TEAM NEWS
Posh are without the services of Rio Adebisi, Sam Hughes, David Okagbue, Tom O'Connor, Jacob Mendy, Ben Woods and Harley Mills due to injury, but are hopeful that George Nevett and Tom Lees will return from illness.
Huddersfield will be without striker Alfie May, who was shown a straight red card in their win over Luton Town last time out.
ONE TO WATCH
Marcus Harness
Coventry-born Marcus Harness (pictured below) joined the club following the expiry of his contract with Ipswich Town in the summer of 2025. The quick and skilful forward came through the academy ranks at Burton Albion before making his debut in 2013/14. After a couple of loan spells with Aldershot and Port Vale, Marcus secured his place as a starter for the Brewers. A prosperous Sky Bet League One campaign saw him register six goals and five assists in the 2018/19 campaign which earned him a move to the south coast with Portsmouth. After three effective years with Pompey, Marcus made the move to Ipswich for £750,000 and quickly showed what he could do. He has been a key performer for the Terriers in recent weeks.
MANAGER QUOTES
"I felt a bit sorry for Lee Grant losing his job because they were not in a bad position in the league table, but I am pleased for Liam Manning, he is a good guy and a top Championship manager, so Huddersfield are lucky to have him. We have had some battles in the past and his teams have proved to be tough opponents, so let's see how we do on Saturday," Williams said.
