Posh welcome Exeter City to the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm) in Sky Bet League One action.

After three successive games on the road, Peterborough United return to PE2 on Saturday as they welcome Exeter City to the Weston Homes Stadium in Sky Bet League One action (3pm).

We are proud to support the return of the EFL PUMA Rainbow Ball, which serves as a symbol of inclusion, unity and pride and will feature during our Exeter City fixture.

Last time out in front of our own supporters, Posh eased to a comfortable 6-1 victory over Wigan Athletic and followed that success up with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Mansfield Town.

However, back to back defeats at Bradford City and Barnsley followed and Posh will be looking to get back on track against a Grecians XI that picked up a point at Wycombe Wanderers in midweek.

Exeter are without a win in their last five league games and are set to be managed by caretaker boss Dan Green after Gary Caldwell left the club earlier this week to return to Wigan Athletic.

TEAM NEWS

Kyrell Lisbie is expected to be fit after coming off after five minutes of the second half at Oakwell with a hip injury. Manager Luke Williams confirmed that he expects Sam Hughes, Harley Mills, Ben Woods and Matt Garbett to be back for the middle of March. Rio Adebisi, Jacob Mendy, Tom Lees and Tom O'Connor, who returned to parent club Wrexham, remain sidelined.

Exeter could alter their XI for the third game in a week with striker Josh Magennis expected to lead the line.

ONE TO WATCH

Jayden Wareham

Jayden Wareham joined City from Reading on a two-year-contract in the summer transfer window and netted the equaliser at Wycombe a few days ago.

Following the expiration of his contract at the Berkshire side, Wareham rejected a new deal and has opted to join the Grecians for an undisclosed compensation fee. The club also have the opportunity to exercise a further optional year within his contract.

A powerful forward, Jayden plays through the middle as a central striker who made 44 appearances for the Royals last season, while scoring eight goals.

MANAGER QUOTES

"Exeter are a tough side to breakdown, I don't think they have lost many games in the last 10 games and we know it will be tough, there are no easy games in League One. They have had a change of manager and that has happened to us before this season, they have continuity though in terms of the interim boss, so I am sure they will stick to their beliefs," Luke Williams said.
